Key Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage pediatric patients with neurological disorders, including:

Epilepsy and seizure disorders

Headaches and migraines

Developmental delays

Neuromuscular disorders

Cerebral palsy

Movement disorders

Neurogenetic conditions

Autism spectrum disorders with neurological concerns

Concussion and traumatic brain injury

Interpret and analyze diagnostic studies including EEGs, EMGs, MRI, CT scans, and other neurological testing.

Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.

Prescribe medications and other therapeutic interventions, including transcranial magnetic stimulation, as appropriate.

Collaborate with pediatricians, neurosurgeons, therapists, psychologists, and other specialists to provide coordinated patient care.

Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, prognosis, and preventive care.

Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary case conferences.

Provide on-call coverage as assigned.

Stay current with advances in pediatric neurology through continuing medical education and professional development.
