Position Overview
ArchWell Health is a new, innovative healthcare provider devoted to improving the lives of our senior members. We deliver best-in-class care at comfortable, accessible neighborhood clinics where seniors can feel at home and become part of a vibrant, wellness-focused community. Our members experience greater continuity of care, as well as the comfort of knowing they will be treated with respect by people who genuinely care about them, their families, and their communities. Core to the ArchWell Health approach is a robust clinical care team dedicated to the needs of our members. The Medical Assistant (MA)-Market Float is critical in supporting the Market’s primary care providers daily to ensure efficient patient care. MAs work collaboratively with market care teams to greet and room members, assist in assessing patient health conditions—including performing routine diagnostic testing during appointments—and may be required to report to regional centers on short notice.

- Perform tasks with a strong focus on patient experience, including processing patient phone messages, returning calls, routing inquiries appropriately, and contacting patients to relay pertinent information for the physician.
- Change dressings, apply bandages, remove sutures, and conduct other first aid procedures; utilize CPR skills when necessary under physician supervision.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and maintain accurate, legal, and ethical documentation at all times.
- Provide health coaching to patients to support healthy lifestyle choices, following up via weekly calls.
- Be prepared to report to regional centers with short notice. Note that while schedules are normally posted 1 week in advance, occasional last-minute adjustments may occur. Travel mileage beyond the home center will be reimbursed at the standard rate.
