Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and highly-skilled Independent Contractor Driver Recruiter to enhance our operations by sourcing, attracting, and onboarding exceptional independent contractor drivers across various markets. This role is crucial, as the work you do will have a direct impact on our ability to deliver outstanding service.

In our fast-moving and collaborative recruiting environment, you will engage candidates, support internal partners, and coach fellow recruiters, all while being committed to transparency and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing Candidates: Leverage various recruitment channels such as job boards, social media, industry forums, and local networking events to attract potential driver candidates.
  • Screening and Interviewing: Conduct in-depth interviews to evaluate qualifications, driving experience, and compatibility with the independent contractor model.
  • Onboarding: Assist candidates through the onboarding process, ensuring all documentation is completed, including background checks and compliance with company standards.
  • Building Relationships: Foster trust and loyalty by establishing positive relationships with drivers, acting as a point of contact throughout the recruitment process.
  • Promoting Company Culture: Effectively communicate our values, mission, and the benefits of partnering with our logistics company as an independent contractor.
  • Reporting: Maintain recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to management regarding hiring progress and challenges.
  • Compliance: Ensure all drivers meet legal and company-specific driving requirements, including certifications and vehicle standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in logistics or transportation.
  • Proficient in recruitment tools, databases, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address candidate concerns and challenges.
