Senior/Lead Backend Engineer (Product/ System/ SaaS/ PaaS)

We are currently looking for a strong Backend Engineer with solid architectural understanding and hands-on development experience. You will play a key role in designing and developing sophisticated SaaS/PaaS applications that prioritize performance, usability, and accessibility, and building & leading your own team in the Vietnam office.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain robust, high-performing microservices using Java Spring Boot.

Design and implement scalable and distributed solutions to meet complex business requirements.

Utilize PostgreSQL for database management and integration within services.

Create and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes (K8S).

Work collaboratively with stakeholders to analyze requirements, propose solutions, and ensure alignment with business goals.

Develop comprehensive testing strategies, including unit and integration testing, to ensure reliable and secure applications.

Ensure code quality and maintainability by following best practices and conducting regular code reviews.

Requirements:

7+ years of experience in software development

Strong Java and Spring Boot experience

Strong software architecture understanding

Experience with distributed systems / microservice architectures

Good understanding of containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes)

PostgreSQL or other relational database experience

Experience designing scalable backend systems and APIs

Ability to work across backend and infrastructure topics when needed

Experience building SaaS/PaaS products .

Familiarity with AI/LLM-related technologies is a plus

Experience with DevOps, cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, or platform engineering is a strong advantage
