Requirements
- This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who's resourceful, has great taste, and can operate independently. You'll be the person who makes the office feel like a place people want to be — and makes sure everything works
,• This role is ideal for someone with flexible daytime availability (we occasionally need quick turnaround on time-sensitive tasks) and a low-ego approach to getting things done. We anticipate this role demanding ~5hrs/week
,• Reliable and responsive. Can turn around quick requests and flag blockers proactively
,• High ownership mentality. Figures things out without hand-holding; escalates when needed, not constantly
,• Good taste. Cares about aesthetics and has opinions about what looks/feels right
,• Flexible daytime availability. Our SF office needs occasional same-day responsiveness
,• Comfortable with ambiguity. This role doesn't come with a full playbook; you'll write it
,• Local to SF. Must be able to come in-office
,• Bonus: experience with office setup/moves, vendor management, or event coordination
What the job involves
- Pulley is looking for a part-time Office Manager to keep our SF office running smoothly
,• Manage office snacks, supplies, and Amazon subscriptions — calibrating reorder levels and upgrades proactively without needing to run company-wide polls
,• Coordinate shipping logistics, including FedEx account management and package receiving
,• Own WiFi and internet connectivity — liaise with ISPs and building management as needed
,• Keep the office stocked, organized, and feeling good day-to-day
,• Plan and coordinate social events: holiday parties, happy hours, team breakfasts, and occasional candidate onsites
,• Help make the SF office feel like a community
,• Own physical office projects end-to-end — examples include sourcing and building furniture, coordinating with vendors, and executing on design concepts
,• Contribute aesthetic judgment to office environment decisions (we care about how the space looks and feels)
,• Support special installations and creative projects
,• Interface with building management on infrastructure needs
,• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (ops, engineering leads) on facilities requests
,• Manage vendor relationships and one-off procurement
