SUMMARY
The Social Worker assists a Licensed Clinical or other Social Worker with their daily tasks to include providing material supportive services to students and their families in order to achieve maximum functioning and promote student achievement. As needed other duties may include but not limited to student assessments, maintenance of student case files, participation in multidisciplinary or IEP team meetings and weekly supervisory sessions. Serves as an integral part of a problem‑solving team at the building level.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Social Worker - Bachelor's
Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited school of Social Work
Ability to support a variety of students behavioral needs
Reliable mode of transportation
Ability to work well with a team and multitask
Ability to manage time and problem‑solve
Availability to work flexible hours, as needed
Min Salary: $42,618.50 Max Salary: $49,478.76
Social Worker - Master's
Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school of social work
Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) Provider
Dependable mode of transportation
Availability to work flexible hours as needed
Min Salary: $45,692.80 Max Salary: $53,047.93
Social Worker - LCSW
Current License as Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health
Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school of social work
Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) Provider
Dependable mode of transportation
Availability to work flexible hours as needed
Min Salary: $51,988.87 Max Salary: $59,874.56
REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO START DATE
FBI fingerprint background check.
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization
Valid Driver's license (Arizona Driver's License required within 30 days of hire)
MV Report - showing no more than the allowable points against Driver's License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB‑R‑1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.
Reliable mode of personal transportation with evidence of insurance compliance greater than or equal to the state required minimum for car insurance as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB‑R‑1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.
Bloodborne Pathogen training offered by TUSD Risk Management Department
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Bilingual - Spanish/English
Previous experience in a school setting
Experience working with diverse or underprivileged populations.
Master's degree in Social Work

Location : Multiple Locations - District-Wide
FTE : Varies. Typical Teacher FTE 1.0, 7.5 hours per day.
Work Calendar : 9.5 months - 207 days (212 days for new to district teachers)
