Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. This position requires a strong commitment to patient service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds.

Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Provide support in medication administration under the supervision of nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist with mobility needs using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and wheelchairs.
• Support patients with special needs including those with developmental disabilities, dementia, or Alzheimer’s disease.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times.
