Position Summary:

The Commercial Landscape Account Manager will oversee maintenance crews and nurture customer relationships for a portfolio of commercial landscape maintenance accounts. Reporting to the General Manager, this role requires a strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills to effectively connect with our teams and clients.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Lead day-to-day operations for maintenance crews while coordinating with fellow Account Managers for shared resources.
  • Build strong customer relationships through communication, regular site visits, and ensuring total satisfaction.
  • Identify and allocate necessary resources, such as scheduling, crew members, equipment needs, and repairs.
  • Provide horticulture training, equipment maintenance support, and guidance to crew leaders.
  • Guarantee a safe working environment for employees, clients, and the public.
  • Implement Landscape Workshop methodologies and uphold project standards.
  • Propose enhancement services to clients to optimize site conditions, collaborating with branch employees to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Minimize risks associated with projects.
  • Communicate business development opportunities effectively with team members and sales representatives.
  • Track and report team hours, additional expenses, and sales weekly.
  • Assist the Branch Manager with project budgeting.
  • Conduct effective client meetings and regular status updates with crew leaders.
  • Estimate jobs as necessary and follow up on generated proposals.
  • Supervise equipment care and maintenance.

Position Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience managing landscape maintenance crews and working with customers.
  • Proficient in computer software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
