Hotel Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a maintenance technician to join our team!

You will be responsible for:

• Arranging routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies and facilities.
• Organizing repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests.
• Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
• Assisting in other areas of the hotel as needed.
• Ensuring all construction projects are completed to company standards.
• Unloading, loading and distributing construction materials.
• Putting together and taking apart temporary structures.
• Safely operating a variety of tools including pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, saws, grinders, etc.

Requirements for this position include:

• Proven experience in construction or maintenance.
• Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer, HVAC systems.
• At least 1 year of related general repair or construction experience preferred.
• Must be able walk, stand, climb, kneel, reach, crawl, push, pull and twist the majority of the day.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance and up to 140 pounds with assistance.
• Must be comfortable climbing up tall ladders and working at elevated levels.
• Able to work independently or as an active member of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17/hour

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
