This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Pharmacy Technician specializing in inpatient hospital settings. You will play a critical role supporting pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities spanning both inpatient services and sterile compounding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inpatient pharmacy technician duties including medication preparation and distribution.
• Compound sterile products in a clean room environment following strict protocols.
• Prepare and replenish crash carts, ensuring readiness for emergencies.
• Manage Omnicell and auto cart fill systems to maintain medication inventory accuracy.

Schedule: • Monday through Friday with rotating shifts: • 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM • 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM • 2:30 PM - 10:00 PM

• Rotating weekends required

Qualifications and Experience: • Proven inpatient hospital pharmacy technician experience.

• Competency in sterile compounding procedures.
• Valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician license.
• PTCB certification (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board).

This is a 13-week contract position with intent for hire, offering a competitive hourly rate of $23. The role demands flexibility with rotating shifts and weekend coverage, providing valuable hands-on experience in a multidisciplinary hospital pharmacy team.
