Ag Transfer operates a grain transload facility in Minneapolis, MN, using a fleet of semi-tractors, yard hostlers, and other heavy equipment in the daily operations of receiving then transloading our bulk grain commodities into shipping containers for export.

Job Description

Full Time, Full Benefits - ALL Local Company Driver. Experienced Truck Driver (CDL) to move intermodal containers with bulk grain, ALL local driving. Escape being over the road! Our drivers haul containers to/from nearby intermodal lots, rail depots, and our facility - all within the metro area. We offer full-time hours, consistent overtime with overtime pay, bonus options and full benefits.

All local driving. Our drivers earn $85,000-$95,000 annual average with overtime

Monday through Friday, start 6:00am. Occasional weekend hours. Full-time, full benefits, and consistent overtime offers excellent earning potential.

Job Requirements

• CDL with experience hauling heavy loads; tractor-trailer experience a plus.
• Minimum 3 years CDL experience;
• Must be able to drive manual transmission trucks
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily; operate safely, adhering to all traffic laws and CDL rules and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to utilize phone-based apps to interface with electronic logging devices (ELD’s) and record daily equipment inspection reports.
• Strong work ethic, reliable attendance and early arrival.
• Must work well with the team and show positive team communication.
• Must be able to physically climb up and down trailers, equipment and ladders safely.
• Ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb, and maintain balance throughout the day for completing multiple hook/unhook with loads.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions, summer and winter.
• Ability to carry fifty (50) pounds.
• Good hearing and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to pass a drug-and-alcohol test and be subject to ongoing random testing per DOT requirements.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly range $25 -28 per hour DOE + OT Rate
• Full-time employment, full benefits with overtime available & OT pay
