What will you do as a Production Worker?
As a part of the Production Team, the Production Worker is responsible for operating various pieces of equipment in order to produce Coca-Cola products. This position is also responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate and monitor equipment in an efficient manner and replenish materials as needed.
- Transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated area.
- Set up machinery ensuring all production materials are available.
- Visually inspect production run and document results.
- Determine and report malfunctions to appropriate parties.
- Responsible for meeting productivity requirements.
- Complete required paperwork as directed.
- Analyze production line to identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Responsible for the prevention of widespread breakdown in production.
- Adhere to good manufacturing practices and safety standards.
- Watch for potential problems on the production line.
- Maintain awareness of the schedule and materials needed for the efficient operation of equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of production area and keep all work areas clean through good housekeeping to include but not limited to: sweeping and mopping when necessary, recycling/destroying defective finished goods, proper shut off procedures for equipment at end of day.
- Operate forklifts in a safe manner.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
- Conform with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment

- Ability to operate manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to operate a manual / powered pallet jack or lift product.
- Hearing and eyesight, with or without correction, sufficient to perform essential functions of the job.

Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 1-2 years of general work experience.
- Prior warehouse/production/equipment service experience preferred.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- Continuing education to maintain certification and a current working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
