Each One Teach One Childcare & Learning Center is seeking a warm, dependable, and passionate Assistant Group Supervisor to support our Toddler Program serving children ages 1 to 2 years old. At EOTO, we believe every child deserves a nurturing environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive. We are looking for an educator who is committed to supporting children's development while working collaboratively with a dedicated team of early childhood professionals.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, values teamwork, and is comfortable supporting multiple classrooms to ensure high-quality care and learning experiences for all children.
Position Responsibilities:
Classroom Leadership & Child Development
- Support the Group Supervisor in planning and implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment where toddlers feel supported and encouraged to explore.
- Build positive relationships with children and families while serving as a caring and consistent presence in the classroom.
- Encourage language development, independence, self-help skills, and positive social interactions.
Classroom Support & Supervision
- Assist with daily classroom routines, including meals, diapering, transitions, rest time, and outdoor play.
- Step into a leadership role and supervise classroom operations when the Group Supervisor is absent.
- Guide and support classroom aides and support staff as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all DHS regulations, center policies, and health and safety procedures.
Center-Wide Collaboration
- Float between classrooms as needed to provide coverage, maintain ratios, and support smooth daily operations.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to meet the needs of children and families.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and center events.
- Contribute to a positive team culture that reflects EOTO's mission of empowering children, families, and the community through education.

Qualifications
Candidates must meet Pennsylvania DHS Assistant Group Supervisor qualifications and satisfy one of the following requirements:
- High school diploma or GED plus 30 college credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or a related human services field.
- High school diploma or GED with 600 or more hours of secondary training.
- High school diploma or GED plus 15 college credit hours in a related field and at least one year of experience working with children.
- High school diploma or GED and completion of a post-secondary training curriculum.
- High school diploma or GED and at least two years of experience working with children.
