We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to join our team in Spring, TX. As a Counter Sales Associate, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional service to our valued customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases

Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently

Maintain a clean and organized sales counter area

Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge to help customers make informed decisions

Handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision

Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner

Restock merchandise and assist with inventory management

Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive shopping environment

Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations

Assist in warehouse operations for shipping and receiving when needed

Maintain regular attendance and punctuality

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

2+ years of retail or customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

HVAC knowledge preferred

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively

Strong math skills for accurate transaction processing

Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems

In-depth product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn about our product line

Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and supportive attitude

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds

Basic computer skills and attention to detail

Team player with a collaborative mindset

Problem-solving skills to address customer concerns effectively

Inventory management skills

Willingness to become forklift certified (training provided)

Regular attendance and punctuality are vital for success in this role
