ECHO Realty is seeking to hire a Property Operations Manager who is responsible for the day-to-day operational performance of a multi-use property, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective operation of all building systems. This role provides coordination between retail, residential, and commercial tenants/owners overseeing maintenance, mechanical systems, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. It will serve as the primary point of accountability for maintenance execution, vendor performance, and operational risk mitigation.

Contributions you will make to the team:

  • Manage routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Oversee all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, lighting, and security.
  • Adhere to local building codes, safety regulations and environmental standards.
  • Understanding all functions of the access and parking systems supporting any onsite needs while present on-site.
  • Supervise routine inspections, coordinate repairs, and manage mechanical systems
  • Support the Property Manager to monitor expenses and optimize cost effective solutions in accordance with the budget.
  • Manage vendor relationships and monitor project progress to ensure alignment with scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans, including fire safety and disaster recovery protocols.
  • Recommend and execute cost-saving initiatives without compromising safety or tenant experience.
  • Support capital improvement projects and renovations.
  • Crisis Management- Ability to maintain composure and make sound decisions during high-stress property emergencies.
  • Provide support for 24/7 building emergencies by assisting with on-site incident management and coordinating immediate vendor dispatches to help minimize asset damage and operational disruption.
  • Provide general support for exterior property care, helping address cleanliness, appearance, and minor upkeep needs as they arise.

Requirements you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Property Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in property management or facility operations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong working knowledge of building systems, preventative maintenance programs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience managing vendor contracts and service agreements.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Property Management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
