Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with attention to quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and food handling regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
• Support dietary department operations by understanding specific dietary requirements and assisting with meal preparation for special diets.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-volume production meets service standards while maintaining efficiency.
• Manage food production tasks from ingredient prep to final plating, ensuring timely delivery during busy service hours.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization within the kitchen area, following all food safety management practices.

Skills

• Extensive culinary experience with a background in high-volume and fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency in food industry standards including food safety management, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
• Knowledge of dietary aide practices and dietary department requirements for accommodating special diets.
• Strong understanding of food production processes including food safety sanitizing procedures and quality control measures.
