Part-Time Caregiver

Position Summary Harmony Health is seeking a Part-Time Caregiver (Direct Support Professional) to provide one-on-one support for a member located in Nashville. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, dependable, and comfortable with providing personal care. Prior Caregiving experience is preferred but not required. Schedule (Part-Time) - Monday – Friday hours vary, Weekends Available Responsibilities / Job Duties - Assist member with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, incontinent care, and housekeeping. - Provide companionship, emotional support, and promote independence and choice. - Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed. - Monitor safety and wellbeing, ensuring proper health and safety practices are followed. - Assist with communication using text and whiteboard as preferred by the member. - Support with positioning and comfort for bedridden care. - Maintain accurate documentation, observation notes, and reports according to agency policies. - Attend required training and participate in the Individual Support Team as needed. Requirements - Must be at least 18 years of age. - Comfortable with providing incontinent and bedridden care. - Compassionate, patient, and respectful in all interactions. - Effective communication skills, both oral and written. - High school diploma or equivalent preferred. - Previous caregiving or DSP experience preferred. - CNA certification a plus but not required. - CPR certification preferred. - Satisfactory completion of background checks and screenings as required.
