Role Description The Senior Financial Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to support strategic decision-making and client advisory engagements. Daily responsibilities include developing financial models, performing variance and trend analysis, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

The Senior Financial

Analyst will review and interpret financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting cycles, and partner with consulting teams to provide insights that inform transformation initiatives. The role also includes presenting findings to internal stakeholders and clients, improving reporting processes, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.

  • Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with global strategic objectives.
  • Develop complex, scenario-based financial models (long-term planning, CAPEX, sensitivity analysis) to evaluate investment decisions.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs and variances, identifying risks and opportunities to optimize business segment profitability.
  • Execute special projects including capital raising support, competitor intelligence, and M/A analysis.
  • Support the quarterly earnings process by drafting scripts, Q&A documents, and investor presentations.
  • Track sell-side analyst models and consensus estimates; identify gaps between internal forecasts and market expectations.
  • Maintain accuracy across IR materials (fact sheets, website, presentations) and ensure consistency with public filings.
  • Monitor industry news, analyst reports, and peer financial health to provide real-time updates to the CFO.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting and Legal teams to ensure accuracy and timely preparation of data for external disclosures. Qualifications

Strong Finance foundation, including Financial Planning and Financial Reporting skills.

Ability to analyze and interpret Financial Statements with advanced Analytical Skills.

Proficiency in developing financial models, forecasts, and budgets using modern spreadsheet and analytics tools.

Experience supporting strategic initiatives, consulting projects, or transformation programs with data-driven insights.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is an advantage.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to varied audiences.

Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work with diverse stakeholders in a professional, inclusive manner.
