We are looking for a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist to join our private dental practice on a part time basis, working 2 to 3 days per week.

Our ideal candidate is dependable, friendly, clinically confident, and able to make patients feel comfortable throughout their visit. We are looking for someone who takes pride in patient education, preventive care, accurate documentation, and helping patients maintain excellent oral health.

Responsibilities:
- Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive hygiene care
- Review patient medical and dental history
- Conduct initial oral health screenings
- Take dental X rays as needed
- Apply fluoride and other preventive treatments when appropriate
- Educate patients on brushing, flossing, gum health, and home care
- Help patients feel comfortable before and during treatment
- Document treatment notes accurately in patient charts
- Identify signs of periodontal disease, oral cancer, and other oral health concerns
- Support the dentist in recommending appropriate care and treatment
- Follow all infection control, sterilization, HIPAA, and safety standards
- Help maintain hygiene supplies and treatment room readiness
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Dental Hygienist license required● Dental hygiene diploma or degree required
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Reliable, professional, and team oriented
- Comfortable treating patients of all ages
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of infection control and dental safety standards
- Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation
