Responsibilities

• Decorate cakes and pastries with creativity and precision, ensuring visual appeal.
• Assist in the development of new dessert recipes and menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
• Follow all food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety in food preparation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in the food industry.
• Strong skills in cake decorating and pastry presentation.
• Knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and kitchen best practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Excellent attention to detail with a passion for creating high-quality baked goods.
• Experience in catering or large-scale food preparation is a plus.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
