At Hyatt, we are looking for an experienced, self-motivated Painter to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and painting of all interior and exterior surfaces of the hotel. The ideal applicant should have a keen eye for detail and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.We are looking for someone who has a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar position and holds a valid painting certification. You should also be knowledgeable of safe working practices and have the ability to use and maintain painting tools and equipment. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately are essential for the role.If you have a passion for painting and have the necessary skills to succeed in this role, we would love to hear from you.\n\nResponsibilities:

Prepare surfaces to be painted by washing, scraping, sanding, patching, and repairing any cracks, holes, or other defects.

Mix, match, and apply paints, stains, and sealants to various surfaces.

Ensure all painting projects are completed according to safety standards and regulations.

Maintain painting tools and equipment in good working condition.

Monitor and adjust paint color and consistency to meet project specifications.

Remove old paint and wallpaper and dispose of it in accordance with local regulations.

Apply wallpaper and fabric to walls and ceilings.

Inspect surfaces for defects and recommend appropriate repair methods.

Work both independently and as part of a team.

Follow instructions from the maintenance supervisor and complete all assignments in a timely manner.
