Paramedic

Join our dedicated team as a Paramedic, where you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact in emergency medical services. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients in need.

Starting pay: $32.24 per hour, with increases based on experience!

Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 for full-time hires and $2,500 for part-time hires, available over the first six months.

Referral Bonus: Earn $5,000 for referring a full-time Paramedic or $2,500 for a part-time Paramedic (terms and conditions apply).

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate each call situation to decide the most effective course of action in accordance with Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment and procedures to deliver comprehensive patient care, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, and intravenous fluids.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide reassurance and information about the care being provided.
• Lead the Paramedic team and manage scene and unit operations as necessary.
• Drive the ambulance during emergency 911 responses.
• Collaborate professionally with healthcare personnel and fellow Paramedics.
• Engage in community programs to enhance our organization's presence and support the local community.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid NY State Paramedic License.
• State Driver's License.
• Nassau and Suffolk REMAC credentials.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Ability to pass a Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare experience is preferred.
