JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Tax Accountant

Department: Tax

Reports To: Managing Partner

Pay Rate: $70,000 - $90,000 annually

Expected Hours: 40-60 Weekly Depending on Time of Year

General Description

We are seeking a skilled, onsite tax accountant to join our team! Our ideal candidate has experience preparing taxes in an accounting office and is well versed in QuickBooks and tax accounting software (Ultra Tax preferred). Applicant must be a driven, focused, dynamic individual with 5+ years’ experience. Candidate should have the ability to prepare tax returns including 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S and 1041.

Qualifications

• 5 Years accounting experience, 5 years tax experience
• Capable of preserving confidential or sensitive information
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective time management, organization, multitasking and self-accountability
• Strong customer service skills to interact with prospects, clients and internal staff
• Must be highly proficient in QuickBooks Online and Desktop version, Office 365 and tax accounting software (Thomson Reuters/ Ultra Tax/Onvio/ Practice preferred)
