Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Non CDL Driver role based in the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area. The Non CDL Driver will be responsible for safely operating company trucks to deliver metal products to customers, job sites, and vendors within assigned routes. Day-to-day tasks include loading and unloading materials, securing loads, verifying delivery documentation, and ensuring products are handled carefully to prevent damage. The role involves performing basic vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance needs, and following all company safety procedures and traffic laws. The driver will also interact with customers professionally at delivery locations, collect signatures or delivery confirmations, and coordinate with the warehouse and dispatch teams to support efficient delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate company trucks safely and efficiently; basic experience with truck driving or delivery operations.
• Hands-on experience with loading, unloading, and securing materials to ensure safe transport.
• Familiarity with general safety practices and basic understanding of transportation guidelines; willingness to learn and follow DOT-related company policies.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time management to maintain delivery schedules.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean or acceptable driving record.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving metal products as needed.
• Professional, courteous communication skills when interacting with customers and team members.
• Previous experience in metal products, or warehouse/delivery environments is helpful but not required.
• Able to use a band saw for cutting material when needed, and a drill price for hole reqirement
