Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join a growing public accounting firm. This role is ideal for professionals who are problem solvers, committed to technical excellence, and passionate about continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
• Perform tax research and compliance reviews.
• Assist with audit and accounting engagements as needed.
• Prepare reports for clients and senior management.
• Work with clients across a variety of industries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• CPA or actively working toward CPA certification.
• Experience in Tax or Public Accounting.
• Strong understanding of tax preparation, compliance, and tax regulations.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and accounting software (CCH Axcess and Adobe are a plus).
• Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using tax research tools is preferred.
