Weekend Registered Nurse (RN)

Position: Weekend RN (Friday-Sunday)

Duties:

• Supervise and coordinate weekend operations to ensure smooth workflow and efficient delivery of services
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff members during weekend shifts
• Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed
• Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to ensure consistent implementation of policies and procedures
• Oversee scheduling and staffing for weekend shifts, ensuring adequate coverage at all times
• Address any issues or concerns raised by staff or patients, taking appropriate action to resolve them
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all occupational health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with staff, patients, and other stakeholders
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines in the healthcare industry
• Understanding of patient assessment and utilization management processes
• Knowledge of physiology and medical terminology
• Experience in dementia care is a plus
