Job Description

As a Branch Manager, you will oversee the service technicians in our two new service facilities in the Charlotte and Greensboro metro areas. We will be adding customers primarily through D2D sales during the Spring/Summer months, so familiarity with the D2D sales process and seasonality is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Leadership by example creates respect and authority from your team and peers. You will be expected to work and present yourself at a high level, train and motivate your team to perform at company standards, actively participate in developing new leaders from within your team and maintain branch KPIs (key performance indicators) at company benchmarks. Additionally, the following is a list of critical Branch Manager duties to help you understand the role. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties.

Daily:

  • Ensure team is starting and completing all required routes and services
  • Check weather forecast / schedule appropriately
  • Perform and train team on advanced / escalated services
  • Monitor software communication channels and other communications regarding check-ins and needs
  • Complete field evaluations / training
  • Coach team members
  • Audit team members (time, quality, reviews, service reports, product usage, etc.)
  • Approve timecards
  • Monitor internal and external company reviews

Weekly:

  • Inventory receiving / product usage tracking
  • Submit purchase approvals / place orders
  • Track driver scores and Podium reviews
  • Hold weekly meetings / training
  • Work on badges, certifications, licensing
  • Update Technician files (HR-related, attendance, etc.)
  • Vehicle / Equipment maintenance and repair
  • Fleet / vehicle tracking
  • Update production capacity estimates / staffing
  • Input route requests
  • Deposit checks
  • Input payroll / timecard information

As needed:

  • Staffing / interviews
  • Onboarding / Off-boarding
  • Schedule license exams
  • Follow up on customer feedback
  • Approve time-off requests
  • Coaching / Corrective actions

Minimum Qualifications

  • Responsible Certified Applicator, having all required pest control licenses to manage pest control technicians- Certified Applicator, Pest Control, Termite Control (preferred)
  • Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a Moving Vehicle Record check
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and possess a current, valid driver's license
  • Must be highly motivated and be able to work independently
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to pull a spray hose and use hands and shoulders to spray and sweep eaves or structures
  • Must be able to crawl and work in close quarters such as crawl spaces
  • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must be able to pass a background check to be authorized to work in customer homes and businesses

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
