BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with TBI Experience to join the team in Cherryville, NC. BAYADA’s Direct Support Professionals DSPs work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential.

We’re hiring urgently for the following area: Cherryville, NC
Shifts available : M- F 8am - 4pm (potential for overtime)
*shifts subject to change based on client needs
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)
Accompany clients on errands and appointments
Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
Participate in community integration activities
Help lift and reposition clients.

Qualifications for Our Support Professionals:
One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities
Significant experience working with individuals who have Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), including strong understanding of related behaviors and support strategies
High school diploma or equivalent
