The Speech & Language Place is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and reliable Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our growing private practice serving children.

This position provides in-home speech therapy services to infants and toddlers (birth to 3 years old) throughout the South Bay. You'll work closely with a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist while making a meaningful difference in the lives of young children and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-home speech and language therapy under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Coach parents and caregivers using evidence-based early intervention strategies.
  • Complete timely session documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with families and the supervising SLP.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Current California SLPA license in good standing.
  • Previous experience working with children is required (Early Intervention experience is strongly preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance.
  • Ability to travel between client homes.
  • Passion for helping young children reach their communication potential.
