Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance
• Handle industrial cleaning tasks including deep cleaning of machinery and large-scale sanitation projects
• Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and equipment upkeep when needed
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment
• Use commercial cleaning tools and supplies efficiently while adhering to environmental guidelines

Qualifications

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and general sanitation practices
• Experience with residential painting or facilities maintenance is a plus
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers and extractors safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts
