Social Media & Executive Assistant to Actress

Position Overview

I am a working actress building my personal brand and preparing for my next chapter in Los Angeles. I'm looking for a highly organized, creative, and proactive Social Media & Executive Assistant who can help grow my online presence, capture compelling content, and assist with the logistics of my acting career.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who loves storytelling, social media, branding, photography, and the entertainment industry. You'll work closely with me to create a polished public image while also helping manage the behind-the-scenes details that keep my career moving forward.

This role begins in Washington, DC, with the potential to continue after my relocation to Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Capture high-quality photos and videos for Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms.
  • Help develop creative content ideas that align with my personal brand.
  • Film behind-the-scenes moments, lifestyle content, auditions, rehearsals, and events.
  • Assist with wardrobe, lighting, locations, and overall aesthetic during content shoots.
  • Edit photos and short-form videos for social media.

Social Media Management

  • Develop and execute a social media growth strategy.
  • Plan and maintain a consistent posting schedule.
  • Write engaging captions and assist with hashtag and SEO strategy.
  • Monitor analytics and recommend improvements based on performance.
  • Stay current on trends and suggest creative ways to increase visibility and engagement.
  • Help build a recognizable and authentic online presence.

Executive & Career Support

  • Manage calendars, appointments, and deadlines.
  • Assist with organizing audition materials and acting career documents.
  • Research industry opportunities, networking events, workshops, and casting resources.
  • Help coordinate travel and logistics related to acting work.
  • Assist with planning and organizing my eventual move to Los Angeles.
  • Handle administrative tasks as needed.

Brand Development

  • Help refine and maintain a cohesive personal brand.
  • Brainstorm collaborations, partnerships, and promotional opportunities.
  • Assist with website updates, portfolio organization, and marketing materials when needed.

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong photography and videography skills.
  • Experience creating engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms.
  • Proficiency with editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, or similar.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Self-starter who can anticipate needs without constant direction.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Passion for entertainment, media, fashion, or personal branding.
  • Professional, discreet, dependable, and positive.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience working with actors, influencers, creators, or public figures.
  • Knowledge of the entertainment industry.
  • Graphic design experience.
  • Website or basic marketing experience.
  • Event planning or executive assistant experience.

Schedule

  • Flexible schedule.
  • Part-time to start, with the potential to expand based on business needs.
  • Some evenings and weekends may be required for events or content creation.

Location

  • Based in Washington, DC.
  • Hybrid work depending on content and administrative tasks.
  • Opportunity to continue with the role after relocation to Los Angeles.
