Remote Neurology Medical Coder 45

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Remote Neurology Medical Coder will review clinical documentation and diagnostic results to assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for billing, reporting, and compliance.Key responsibilities:

Perform accurate coding of medical records using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS guidelinesEnsure appropriate coding of documented services and obtain clarification for incomplete documentationReview and communicate coding corrections, re-bills, and denials in a timely mannerRequired qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of professional coding experience in neurology clinic codingCPC certification from AAPCHigh school diplomaEMR experienceStrong knowledge of federal and state coding regulations and guidelines
