Position Overview:
Reporting to the Manager, Contract Administration, the Contract Administrator will drive the contract management process from negotiation to execution and serve as the first responder in the Contract Administration department. This person will also register Raptor with various state and local agencies, manage the application and renewal process for the various joint purchasing associations/cooperatives of which Raptor is a member, and own the process of cataloging Raptor’s contracts. The Contracts Administrator will work closely with sales, finance/accounting, and Raptor’s customers.
Job Duties Responsibilities:
Development and maintenance of the standard templates for customer agreements, privacy policies, end user license agreements and mutual non-disclosure agreements
Implement best practices and processes for the execution and management of all contracts across the company, to include customer, vendor, partner and reseller contracts as well as non-disclosure agreements; includes the cataloging and storing contracts as well as the use of software for contract execution and management
Work with sales and finance to facilitate the execution and negotiation of end customer contracts in a high transaction volume environment
Manage the execution of customer required vendor forms and other legal documents required by customers
Work with sales to register Raptor with the various state and local agencies in which it conducts business
Own the process to apply to, renew, and update Raptor’s contracts with various joint purchasing associations/cooperatives such as GSA, Buyboard, and TIPS
Other relevant tasks as needed or assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree Business Administration or similar degree, law degree is strongly preferred
Approximately 5 years prior experience in a contract administration role in a Corporate setting; software or technology company is preferred
Past Paralegal experience is preferred
Experience with contract management and electronic signature software; we use experience with SalesForce and Conga preferred but not required
Experience interacting with legal counsel on contract provisions
Knowledge of contract law, software industry, accounting principles and finance
Possesses superior attention to detail in order to spot inconsistencies in contracts
Has strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to work productively independently and as part of a team
Must have excellent analytical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities
Should exhibit strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to foster effective working relationship s and build consensus
High degree of professionalism, approaches scenarios with a positive, customer centric, attitude
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
