Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of last-mile delivery operations, including route planning, dispatch, driver management, and customer service. Develop and implement strategies to improve delivery speed, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Manage, train, and mentor a team of last-mile delivery personnel, fostering a culture of safety and customer focus. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates, delivery cost per package, driver productivity, and customer satisfaction. Implement and leverage technology solutions, including routing software, telematics, and delivery management platforms. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment for all staff. Collaborate with national operations and technology teams to implement new initiatives and best practices. Manage operational budgets, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics and transportation, with at least 3-5 years specifically focused on last-mile delivery operations management. Proven track record of successfully managing large teams of drivers and operational staff. In-depth understanding of last-mile delivery challenges, technologies, and best practices. Experience with routing software, delivery management systems, and telematics. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities. Financial acumen and experience managing operational budgets.
