Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure in the state
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required for CFs
- Previous experience working with pediatric and school-age populations, including Pre-K through Grade 12
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, IEP processes, and evidence-based intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches for diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students in early childhood through high school
- Develop individualized treatment plans and conduct therapy sessions tailored to students unique abilities
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators, families, and other service providers
- Maintain thorough and timely student records in compliance with district and state requirements
- Deliver consultative support and training to teachers and staff as needed
