πŸš€ Your Impact: Patient Engagement Specialist

As a Patient Engagement Specialist , you will serve as a vital connection between patients, pharmacies, providers, and internal teams. Through inbound and outbound patient interactions, you'll help ensure patients receive medications on time, navigate pharmacy processes, and maintain continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities

πŸ“ž Proactively coordinate medication refills, including data entry and pharmacy claim adjudication

πŸ“ž Make outbound patient refill calls and assist patients through the complete refill process

πŸ“ž Answer, resolve, and appropriately triage inbound patient and provider inquiries

πŸ“ž Clarify prescription orders with pharmacists and/or clinicians when appropriate

πŸ“ž Identify medications requiring special handling, including refrigerated or hazardous medications

πŸ“ž Manage, organize, and update patient and pharmacy information within database applications

πŸ“ž Assist pharmacies with prescription claim adjudication and resolution of claim processing errors

πŸ“ž Respond to questions regarding prescription coverage, fulfillment status, and pharmacy services

πŸ“ž Serve as a key point of contact between patients, pharmacies, pharmacy liaisons, clinical providers, and internal operational teams

πŸ“ž Identify trends, resolve challenges, recommend improvements, and support operational excellence initiatives

πŸ“ž Participate in process improvement efforts that enhance patient experience, productivity, quality, and service standards

πŸ“ž Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with all applicable policies and regulations

🎯 What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

βœ” Ability to obtain and maintain required state Pharmacy Technician registrations/licenses

βœ” National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or equivalent) required based on state requirements

βœ” High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ 1–3 years of Pharmacy Technician experience

⭐ Experience adjudicating pharmacy claims

⭐ Experience managing medication refills and specialty pharmacy workflows

⭐ Experience collaborating with clinical care teams

⭐ Previous remote work experience

⭐ Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or other languages) strongly preferred to support our diverse patient populations
