EMT 101:

• Answer The Call of Duty: You will be the medical professional to oversee interfacility transports or hospital discharge of patients. From the pickup, transit, and drop off of the patient, you’ll oversee every step to ensure our community is provided excellent care.
• New Experiences Every Shift: No day is every the same in the medical field and at LifeLine, you’ll be exposed to a variety of patients and call types. Some of the calls include ALS, CCT, and NICU/PICU.
• Be The Leader You Are: In many circumstances, you will be faced with challenges that require immediate action. You will learn how to take charge of a situation and collaborate with your team towards success.
• Know The Script, Trust Your Instinct: We are looking for providers that know how to provide the highest level of care to the community, but more importantly – disruptors that aren’t afraid to push boundaries and challenge the norm to be better.
• Professional Lifehacker: Use all your knowledge and tools on hand to ensure the patient is cared for. You don’t have to build a suit from scraps like Iron Man, but you should be resourceful with solutions that go beyond the textbook.
• Chronicle Your Journeys: Documentation is everything! It is important that you take record of all that’s done on shift to ensure your heroic efforts are echoed in all of eternity.

What You Bring To The Table

• Valid California EMT Certification & Ambulance Driver’s License
• Clean Driving Record (we want to save people, not be saved)
• BLS CPR Certification (because, obviously)
• A love for safety, compliance, and keeping you and your team out of danger
