Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience in school or pediatric settings highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, and IEP processes
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach and excellent communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from diverse backgrounds
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students needs
- Collaborate actively with teachers, special education staff, and families to promote student progress
- Maintain detailed case notes, progress records, and compliance with school documentation standards
- Engage in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing learning to stay current with best practices
- Provide support and mentorship to those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year, if applicable
