The primary role of the Account Manager is to handle the day-to-day Client Service requirements on an assigned book of business. This book of business could have a Producer or Account Executive who has overall responsibility for Service, Placement and Business Development.

The AM should have a deep understanding of coverage and insurance programs, but their focus includes a significant amount of time spent on system activity and communication with the client via email, phone or in person. They have great accountability to adhere to corporate initiatives, process and procedures, including system of record data integrity.

The AM is a key member of the client team and provides direction to any 3rd party vendors who have responsibility for the account.

Your Impact:

  • Partner with Producers and Account Executives to support renewal strategy, market selection, claims review, and exposure analysis across a renewal book of business.
  • Manage renewals end to end, including submission development, proposals, carrier placement, and binding.
  • Prepare exposure data, loss exhibits, submissions, and proposals, obtaining loss runs and policy documentation directly from carriers as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for daily client service requests, managing policy changes, endorsements, audits, certificates, and invoices.
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates in the system of record, including documentation, audits, reports, contract reviews, and claims support.
  • Oversee policy billing setup, invoice requests, premium reconciliation, aged A/R communication, and coordination with accounting teams.
  • Build strong carrier and wholesaler partnerships, leverage brokerage buying power, support retention and new business efforts, and participate in initiatives, compliance, and stretch assignments that drive professional growth.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ Years of experience in a Property & Casualty brokerage environment.
  • Hold Insurance licenses as required by the Company.
  • Knowledge of Property & Casualty business.
  • Ability to follow process and procedures guidance.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to display tact and poise under pressure when working through issues.
