Job Summary of PTA:
This position entails administering therapeutic interventions with oversight from a Physical Therapist, aiding in the implementation of personalized treatment plans, and working closely with a diverse group of professionals to promote successful results. Job Duties and Responsibilities of PTA:
- Provide physical therapy interventions as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist following state-mandated practice protocols.
- Help in determining suitable candidates for treatment and collaborate with the overseeing physical therapist for assessments and recommendations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the achievement of positive patient results.
- Uphold precise and punctual record-keeping to adhere to regulatory standards.
- Confirm that all medical directives are up-to-date and adhered to as needed.
Qualifications and Experience of PTA:
- Completion of a Physical Therapist Assistant program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is required to earn an associate’s degree in the field.
- Possession of a valid state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Proficient abilities in organization and communication.
