Job Summary of PTA:

This position entails administering therapeutic interventions with oversight from a Physical Therapist, aiding in the implementation of personalized treatment plans, and working closely with a diverse group of professionals to promote successful results. Job Duties and Responsibilities of PTA:

  • Provide physical therapy interventions as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist following state-mandated practice protocols.
  • Help in determining suitable candidates for treatment and collaborate with the overseeing physical therapist for assessments and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the achievement of positive patient results.
  • Uphold precise and punctual record-keeping to adhere to regulatory standards.
  • Confirm that all medical directives are up-to-date and adhered to as needed.

Qualifications and Experience of PTA:

  • Completion of a Physical Therapist Assistant program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is required to earn an associate’s degree in the field.
  • Possession of a valid state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Proficient abilities in organization and communication.
