What We Offer
Novant Health Gilead Pediatrics & Internal Medicine is hiring for a Certified Medical Assistant. The CMA is to coordinate and assist the provider to ensure safe, quality, and cost‑effective service and care for the people within the practice population.
What We're Looking For
Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
Certification: Current certification from an approved registry (e.g., CMA via AAMA, CCMA via NHA, RMA via AMT or ARMA, etc.). If not certified, the candidate must obtain certification or registration within six months of hire and sign an education agreement.
Experience: Previous work in a medical office, preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Current certification or ability to obtain within six months as CMA, RMA, or CCMA; Current State Driver's License (Palliative Care Only), required.
Additional Skills: Ability to successfully complete generic and department‑specific skills validation and competency testing.
