Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions, and providing personalized recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, ensuring food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashing out customers and balancing registers at shift end
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or background in coffee service is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math accuracy
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light supplies, and work flexible hours as needed

Pay: $21.65 - $26.07 per hour
