Medical Office Supervisor – Pain Management Practice
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Nights | No Weekends | No Call

Position Summary
The Medical Office Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring efficient workflows, regulatory compliance, financial oversight, and an exceptional patient experience. This individual will work closely with providers and staff to maintain a collaborative, high-performing work environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the medical office, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management
- Supervise and support administrative and clinical support staff, providing coaching, training, and performance management
- Foster a positive, team-oriented workplace culture focused on exceptional patient care
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, state and federal regulations, and practice policies
- Monitor office productivity and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency
- Coordinate with providers to optimize patient flow and clinic operations
- Work with Administrator to develop and implement office policies and procedures to improve efficiency and consistency
- Monitor inventory, vendor relationships, and office resources
- Resolve patient concerns professionally while promoting a high level of patient satisfaction
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and support practice growth
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of two years of leadership or supervisory experience in a medical office setting
- Proven experience managing daily medical practice operations
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and office administration
- Experience leading and developing a team
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Strong leadership abilities with a collaborative management style
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and Microsoft Office applications
Preferred
- Experience in pain management or another medical specialty practice
- Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW)
