Trades ​/ Skilled Labor Operator, Heavy Equipment Operator

An Excavator Operator at IGT is responsible for operating an excavator for mainline trenching. The equipment must be maneuvered safely and carefully around people and objects.

Duties /

Description:

• Operation of a variety of equipment suitable for the project
• Perform site inspections to determine locations of extractions
• Comply with federal, state, and local codes and ordinances, including OSHA standards and rules
• Support laborers as needed (physical tasks may be required outside of equipment operation)
• Ensure on‑site equipment is maintained properly
• Be self‑starter and able to work long hours
• Read and understand blueprints and grading plans

Pay Range:

$25 - $30

Qualifications /

Experience:

• Driver's license: required (Class CDL A preferred)
• Construction experience: 4 years (preferred)
• Operating experience: 4 years (preferred)

Schedule:

8 - 10‑hour shifts Monday through Friday (some Saturdays may be required)

Mon - Fri 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
