Korean Restaurant Server + Bartender (Urgent Hire, must have experience)

Overview

Join our team as a Server and be the face of our vibrant Korean restaurant in NYC! We are urgently hiring energetic, hospitality-driven professionals who can deliver attentive service in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a Korean restaurant is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Authentic Service: Guide guests through our menu, confidently explaining traditional dishes and managing the continuous, attentive service of banchan (side dishes).
• Order & Cash Handling: Take accurate food/beverage orders using the POS system and handle transactions responsibly.
• Floor Teamwork: Greet guests, serve food efficiently, bus/reset tables, and collaborate closely with the kitchen team.
• Guest Relations: Deliver warm, proactive hospitality, ensure food safety compliance, and resolve any guest issues smoothly.

Requirements

• Must have proven experience working in a Korean restaurant with a solid understanding of Korean culinary traditions and service flow (including banchan pacing).
• Strong customer service and time-management skills to handle multiple tables during busy rushes.
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems.
• Basic math skills for accurate billing and cash/tip handling.
• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
