Job Title: General Production Worker - PM Shift

Job Description

Join a leading global company in bio-solutions, where you will contribute to producing products for yogurt, animal feed, and more. As a General Production Worker, you will engage in various duties that ensure efficient production and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manually clean machines during product changeovers.
  • Lift up to 50lb bags of raw materials into hoppers.
  • Assist the operator in running various machines.
  • Learn and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and chemical safety protocols.
  • Document production runs accurately.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in general production.
  • 1+ years of experience in GMP environments.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Knowledge of sanitation, mixing, and blending processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in mixing or blending powders or liquids.
  • Previous experience handling chemicals safely for sanitation purposes.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.

Work Environment

The PM shift operates from 4:30pm to 5:00am on a 2-2-3 schedule. The facility is clean, climate-controlled, and maintains a moderate pace with no strong odors. Protective equipment such as hair nets, beard nets, smocks, steel-toed boots, gloves, hard hats, and safety glasses are required. Occasionally, you may need to enter a deep freezer set at -55 degrees Celsius.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
