Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as needed to ensure smooth operations
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including billing and issuing receipts using retail math principles
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service
• Uphold responsible serving practices by verifying guest ages and monitoring alcohol consumption

Experience

• Previous experience working as a bartender or in food service within a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability in customer service with excellent communication skills
• Experience in fine dining environments or banquet settings is a plus
• Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Prior experience in catering or event service enhances your suitability for this role
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
