Job Summary:

As a Warehouse Team Member at Aramark, you play a key role in ensuring that products are received, organized, and distributed efficiently and accurately. You'll support the overall warehouse operations including inventory management, order preparation, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications:

  • The minimum age for eligibility is 18 years
  • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is the preferred educational background
  • Candidates with a minimum of two years of warehouse experience are preferred
  • The foundational skills of reading, writing, and math are vital
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Skilled at articulating thoughts clearly using written and verbal means
  • Proficiency in manipulating tools with physical coordination
  • Capability to carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, including regularly lifting and transporting items up to 35 pounds
  • Having a valid driver's license may be necessary depending on the location, and an evaluation of the Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) will be carried out

Primary Job Duties:

Responsibilities may vary by Aramark location depending on client requirements and business needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Examine, mark, and sort incoming inventory; notify of any discrepancies noticed in the received products in comparison to the provided invoices
  • Utilize the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) approach to maintain and store perishable goods efficiently and systematically
  • Carry out responsibilities that include the operation or learning to operate manual/electric pallet jacks and forklifts if necessary
  • Assemble and manage inventory to fulfill requirements for product, supply, and equipment orders
  • Transport, deliver, and shift goods within the warehouse premises or to designated customer destinations utilizing carts or powered transportation
  • Perform regular inventory checks as planned
  • Precisely fill out all necessary documentation, which may include maintaining inventory logs, conducting temperature verifications, recording spoilage incidents, and inspecting equipment, using either paper-based or digital systems
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of warehouse spaces, which encompass restrooms, break rooms, loading docks, and raised platforms
  • Observe safety procedures, adhere to OSHA standards, follow guidelines in Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and be familiar with emergency protocols
  • Make sure to utilize the correct Personal Protection Gear (PPG) where required
  • Secure both client and corporate assets
  • Interact professionally with clients, coworkers, suppliers, and visitors throughout engagements
  • Attend gatherings and carry out additional responsibilities as designated
