• Dayshift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM; includes possible variations such as 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM and 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub in the Operating Room during scheduled surgeries
• Provide patient care aligned with surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Follow hospital protocols and safety standards during all operative procedures
• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient care as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio RN license or Compact license in hand at the time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent OR experience in a specialized setting
• ACLS and BLS certifications active and current
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Completion of 32-40 hours of paid orientation
• Must pass the PBDS assessment (waived if applicable)
• Ability to pass a drug screen (Nicotine free if non-nurses/CSTs) within 12 months prior to start date
• Complete BCI/FBI background checks within 48 hours of signing contract

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub experience in addition to circulating nursing skills
• Prior experience working within the Cleveland Clinic system or similar hospital environments

Additional Notes

• Candidates must have a permanent Ohio license or a Compact License (accepted for starts from 01/01/23 onward)
• A manager or supervisor reference is required for submission; RNFA/CSFA roles need a supervisor or physician reference
• All certifications must be active with no pending items
• Candidates will need to complete onboarding modules (average 6-15 hours) prior to start, recorded via Silkroad
• Badge pickup and onsite fingerprinting are required before the start date
• Exemption from nicotine-free requirement applies to nurses and CSTs, others must be nicotine free
• Travel compliance and submission instructions should be carefully followed as per client guidelines
