Tutor Me Education is looking for an outstanding communicator and relationship manager to serve as the primary point of contact for families, students, and instructors in our Special Education Tutoring program. This role is about case management, not instruction — you'll be the calm, organized, professional voice that keeps families informed, schedules running smoothly, and everyone feeling taken care of. Strong candidates from customer service, account management, hospitality, or virtual operations backgrounds are encouraged to apply as long as they have some educational experience.

What You'll Do

Serve as the primary relationship manager for a caseload of families — building trust, answering questions, and being their go-to contact

Conduct intake calls with new families and set expectations clearly and confidently

Build and manage class schedules across multiple students, teachers, and platforms

Communicate proactively with families about scheduling, progress, and any concerns — via phone, video, and written correspondence

Monitor student progress and flag concerns to the appropriate specialist

Coordinate with instructors to ensure sessions run smoothly

Navigate multiple software systems daily (scheduling platforms, spreadsheets, video conferencing, CRM/case management tools) without missing a beat

Represent Tutor Me Education professionally in every interaction — you are often the face of the company to our families

Support basic oversight of IEP/504 accommodation compliance (full training provided — deep SPED expertise not required)

What We're Looking For (in priority order)

Outstanding communicator. You speak clearly, confidently, and warmly — on the phone, on video, and in writing. You can deliver hard news to a frustrated parent without sounding defensive, and you make people feel heard.

Tech-comfortable and virtual-ready. You show up to virtual meetings with a working camera and headset, a quiet professional space, and you move between multiple platforms (spreadsheets, scheduling tools, video conferencing) without friction.

A true professional who represents our brand well. You're organized, reliable, and composed under pressure. Families and school partners should always come away with a great impression of our company because of you.

Special education experience strongly preferred. Direct experience with IEPs, 504 plans, or students with disabilities is a significant advantage and will be weighted favorably. Candidates with strong general education or tutoring experience — and exceptional performance on 1-3 above — will also be considered. All candidates should be ready to build fluency with IEP/504 basics, academic frameworks, and case management systems.
